iCat Digital Imaging

Delta Dental Xray Lab is the first lab in San Joaquin County to offer the i-CAT Cone Beam 3-D Imaging system. This scanner creates high definition 3-D images providing 1:1 anatomical views of the patient`s mouth, face and jaw areas. This system provides less radiation to the patient and a typical scan is only 8.5 seconds.

The i-Cat Imaging System is essential for safe and accurate implant placement. The 3-D scan of teeth, bone, nerves, and sinus allow the practitioner to accurately place the implant to insure a successful result. The 3-D images provide greater resolution and clarity compared to currently available x-rays or medical grade CT scanners.
